After high school I went to the University of Massachusetts,
graduating in 1955 with a BS. I taught home economics in Holyoke
and Northampton, Massachusetts, Batavia, New York, and West Canaan,
New Hampshire. Bruce and I married in 1955, and we have moved twelve
times over the years, living in Massachusetts, Connecticut, New
York, Vermont, and New Hampshire (in a town smaller than Hopedale).
I have recently moved back to Massachusetts where I am nearer to
some of my family.
I love being retired, enjoying family and friends, and my favorite
hobby is sewing, especially quilting. The two quilt groups I belong
to make quilts for various charities. We go to many quilt shows,
the largest being in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
