As I grew up in Hopedale
and in Chapel St school...Park St... Dutcher St and you know where. Went
into service as soon in '44 as I turned 18 and ended the war in a foxhole
in Czechoslovakia with the First Infantry !
From there I went to Drapers as an apprentice draftsman . 32 years and
9 months of labor and 11 years of night school, I retired as the head
of R & D of Rockwell's Yarn Machinery Division, looking out the same window
on Hopedale St.
Pretty mundane stuff.
